| Here are a few pictures from my Dives
while I was on vacation. While Diving in the Great deep ocean We
came upon a strange and Mysterious shape under the waves. |

As we drew closer and closer the shape resolved itself
into the sunken wreck of a DC-3 aircraft. The rudder and Elevators
on the tail were eerily swaying in the current as if someone was still at
the controls trying vainly to fly the plane before crashing into the warm
tropical waters just short of the Isle of Aruba and sinking to the briny
deep where we happened upon it. |
| We are able to enter the forward portion
of the aircraft via the large opening on the side you see in these
pictures and swim thru the length of the Aircraft exiting past the open
door of the lavatory in the rear. Even as we look into the cockpit
we see the controls of the airplane thru the broken out windows, yet no
one is at the controls.. At least no one visible to our party of
divers. |

| As we swim on we come upon the wreck of a smaller plane.
This plane was not as lucky as the larger one... It is largely broken
up and there is not much left beyond an engine and landing gear.... |
